Emaar MGF plans to roll out IT parks on behalf of Digital Greens across IT cities. The building will be unveiled in Chennai real estate and this will be replicated in other cities such as IT Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Mohali and Pune.
Mr Shravan Gupta, executive vice president and general manager of Emaar MGF said that real estate in cities like Chennai have good demand for Information Technology and IT Enabled Services.
But with the evolution of the rupee against the dollar ration and a dent in software exports in India, will continue to drive real estate or will they look for alternative drivers of commercial real estate. Shravan Gupta says that the IT sector has acted as a catalyst to the extent that commercial property in Chennai and other parts of the country. When the houses were selling well, when the property was developed at a rapid pace, and most importantly, when money was plentiful real estate seemed to have unlimited growth potential. Such success has inspired the builders, architects, property managers and use of innovative concepts to pave the way towards a more environmentally friendly. Green design was suddenly the rage. Manufacturers methods used intelligently, the architects focused on sustainability, and the owners and tenants have sought alternative ways to heat, cool, and keep their properties clean. The green trend is not limited to real estate. consumer goods, food and water supply and automobile began to roll cleaner, smarter products. A wonderful new trend and is now a thriving reality. Or so we thought. The only thing, the only people secretly knew but did not say is that going green is expensive. By working with green technologies, companies and organizations to make good use of their budgets increased. That’s when things were good. But now, well, things are not so good.
